Couple getaway done right!
We stayed for 2 nights in the Pink Room, and let me tell you, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The food in the conservatory overlooking the beer garden was massive and cooked to perfection, just like how I needed everything in my life to be-precise and satisfying.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but for a couple of nights, it was still reasonable

The Coral Room offered a spacious layout with a shower en suite, making it very convenient. I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The owners and staff were really attentive throughout my stay. Breakfast and dinner were standout meals. The smoked haddock had a bit of an unexpected twist, but the poached eggs were absolutely top-notch. The beer garden provided a lovely space to unwind after meals. the cushion situation was slightly excessive. six cushions on the bed felt a bit much. noise from the pub below was noticeable, which could be problematic for light sleepers.

Just an optimal selection for a city holiday in Combe Martin with fantastic value for money. The quality of the steak I had was top-notch, even though it felt overpriced. Consider minor adjustments to the menu for better value.

Family with children will love it
The food was superb, especially the carvery—I had some of the best pork belly ever, it just melts in your mouth. And the staff, they went out of their way to help us, even ensuring my daughter got exactly what she needed to eat when she wasn’t feeling well
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but for what you get, I’d say it’s still reasonable.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I absolutely adored the quirky character of my room, which felt like stepping into a whimsical storybook! The cozy pub was just what we needed after a long hike, and the lovingly-prepared Sunday carvery was the cherry on top, with flavors that had us asking for seconds. The stunning views of the River Exe while dining made each meal feel like a magical experience!
